Girls Inc. of Tarrant County
Girls Inc. of Tarrant County is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to inspiring all girls to be "strong, smart, and bold" through life-changing programs and experiences that help girls navigate gender, economic, and social barriers. Research-based curricula, delivered by trained, mentoring professionals in a positive all-girl environment equip girls to achieve academically; lead healthy and physically active lives; manage money; navigate media messages; and discover an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math. These programs are facilitated with girls ages 6 through 18 years old in schools, churches, and community centers, and we also offer conferences, camps, and events throughout the year.
Tarrant County Kids, our childcare division, offers safe, fun-filled co-ed childcare to kids ages 5-12. We offer before- and after-school care at nine locations in Arlington ISD, and all day summer co-ed childcare through our Summer Adventure Camp.
We know that delivering our mission would not be possible without community support. Because of our great community and volunteers, we are able to continue to inspire all girls to be “strong, smart, and bold!”
