Maker Mavens: Shoot for the Moon (3rd-5th grade girls)

What is a Maker?

She is a creator, an inventor, and a do-it-yourselfer. She uses her curiosity and lots of different tools and materials to make creations that solve problems, improve lives, and just plain entertain!

What is a Maven?

Why, she is an expert, of course!

What is a Maker Maven?

She is a girl interested in exploring her inner scientist through hands-on activities in engineering, circuitry, coding, robotics, and more. At Maker Mavens, she can expect to interact with 10-15 other girls her age, make new friends, and discover her inventive side!

Maker Mavens are fun and educational workshops consisting of hands-on-Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities. Light snacks will be provided!

THIS WEEK: Shoot for the Moon

What: The “Shoot  for the Moon” Maker Mavens workshop will be about engineering and launching air powered rockets while developing a basic understanding of data.

Where: Girls Inc.Arlington Office: 2820 Matlock Road, Arlington, Texas 76015

When: Saturday, January 25th, 2020 10am -12pm

Who: 3rd through 5th grade girls.
