Spring Workshops for East Arlington (1st-6th grade)
Monday-Wednesday 4 PM – 5:30 PM via ZOOM
January 25th- May 10th

Girl Power is a Girls Inc. program that mentor girls about how to make healthy decisions, building positive relationships, and working toward achievable goals through hands-on activities. Through the program, the girls will learn about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), career and post-secondary education opportunities, and mental health. The girls will receive a kit prior to their workshop they register.*

** PLEASE NOTE** Girls who register for this program have to commit for the whole 2020-2021 Academic School Year.

Mondays: 5th & 6th grade

Tuesdays: 1st & 2nd grade

Wednesdays: 3rd & 4th grade

*The ZOOM information and schedule to pick up kits will be shared after registration.*

    Girls Inc. of Tarrant County will use photographs of the children in agency publications such as brochures, website, and flyers. Your child’s photographs will not be used or sold to any other agencies. If you do not want your child’s photo to be used, please submit a signed letter stating your denial of permission.
    My child may access virtual programming through online platforms. In an effort to continuously serve Girls Inc. participants, we are providing distance-based, virtual programming from which Girls Inc. staff will facilitate through online platforms. Girls Inc. will use software, tools, and applications provided by third parties that Girls Inc. participants, parents/guardians, and/or staff will access via the Internet and use for purposes of communication and programming. These platforms include: Zoom. Please provide consent for your child to utilize these applications for distance-based, virtual program purposes. Please be aware that each application collects different information about its users and has its own privacy terms and conditions to which you must adhere. Please review these carefully before registering your child.
