This page is for those looking to volunteer. If you’re looking to attend an event or enroll your child in one of our programs, please visit our Girls Inc. Events page.

How can I get involved?

Mentor: Spend time getting to know the girls and building trust by regularly volunteering at one of our program locations to help with homework, special projects, leadership skills activities, and be a positive role model.

Program Assistant: Work regularly at one of our program locations as an assistant to the program facilitator.

Share Your Career/Life Story: Talk to the girls about how circumstances in your life or work relate to our programs and topics.

Clerical or Administrative Support: Work at our Arlington or Fort Worth office to assist staff with keeping up with daily tasks so that they can spend more time in the community working with and for our girls.

Field Trip & Special Event Chaperones: Ride along with the girls for exciting learning experiences throughout Tarrant County.

Committee Member: Share your talents and resources to work on special events and projects. Committees include: Champions Breakfast, College Shower, and Day of the Girl.

How can my company get involved?

Job Shadowing: Allow a group of girls to come and observe your workday to educate them on potential career opportunities for their future.

Intern/Externship: Provide a girl with an internship or externship opportunity with your company.

Donate Laptops: We are always accepting new or refurbished laptops for our program sites and College Shower event.

Employee Volunteerism: Many of our most involved volunteers, spend their time with us with the support and encouragement of their employer.
