HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

Program Assistant: Work regularly at one of our program locations as an assistant to the program facilitator.

Guest Speaker: Talk to the girls about how circumstances in your life or work relate to our programs and topics.

Speak at In-Person/Virtual Workshops: Participate in panel discussions and share your expertise on specified topics related to College & Career, health & wellness, or other topics.

Clerical or Administrative Support: Work at our Arlington or Fort Worth office to assist staff with daily tasks so that they can spend more time in the community working with and for our girls.

Special Events: Volunteer at various Girls Inc. of Tarrant County special events including, EmpowerHer, Day of the Girl, Fall Festivals, School Events and more.

Mentoring: Become a one-on-one mentor for our College & Career Scholarship program and/or our Boost Mentorship program, assisting middle/high school girls working on scholarship essays and/or guiding high school seniors in their transition to their first year in college.

Field Trip & Special Event Chaperones: Ride along with the girls for exciting learning experiences throughout Tarrant County.

Committee Member: Share your talents and resources to work on special events and projects. Committees include: Champions Breakfast, College Shower and Day of the Girl.
