We officially have another Boost Mentorship Program Cohort!
Our Boost Mentorship Program is designed to help our high school senior participants smoothly transition from high school to the opportunities that await them after graduation.
Whether the girls choose to pursue college, trade school, or start working, their mentors are there to guide them every step of the way. During last month’s Boost Match Social, girls and potential mentors were filled with excitement as they started their mix and mingle activity, and after several rounds of meeting with one another—while exchanging stories about their common interests and hopes for their futures—they selected their top three choices.
Amazingly, nearly everyone was one another’s top choice, and a week later mentees and mentors were matched! Our organization has seen the impact these special relationships have on our participants (some mentors and mentees have maintained a friendship years later!) and are grateful to our mentors who signed up to fill that role that the girls need. Congratulations to all involved!
